Project #3 Interview Questions


Interview with Becca Zeitlin
1.     How old were you when you joined your first swim team?
2.     What drew you to the sport of swimming, or why were you interested in swimming?
3.     Did you find it difficult to make friends with people on your team?
4.     What things did you have in common with the other members of your team?
5.     Do you believe that you share the same goals and beliefs of the other members of your team?
6.     Can you name some of these goals?
7.     Would you say that swimming has influenced who are today?
8.     Do you believe that swimmers use a specific ‘language’? If so, can you name some examples and explain their meaning?
9.     Do you think there is a typical stereotype for swimmers? What is it?
10. What is your biggest challenge about being on a swim team?

Interview with Ellen Bley
1.     How old were you when you joined your first swim team?
2.     What drew you to the sport of swimming, or why were you interested in swimming?
3.     How many teams have you been apart of throughout your entire life?
4.     When comparing your different teams, what aspects have been the same, and what aspects have been different? (ex: level of difficulty, personality of team, attitude of swimmers, goals and interests)
5.     Do you think that swimmers have a typical stereotype? How do you think they get this stereotype?
6.     What team have you enjoyed swimming for the most and why?
